ATEE Winter Conference 2022 – Teaching and Learning for an Inclusive Interconnected World

“This conference, aimed at teacher educators, non-formal educators, pre and in service teachers and other education stakeholders, will focus on how Teacher Educators, working together with pre- and in-service teachers and other education stakeholders, can prepare themselves and establish environments that promote teaching and learning for an inclusive, interconnected world, i.e. global competence development.

We will explore five interrelated strands:

• Inclusive approaches to teaching and learning for an interconnected world;
• Preparing teacher educators (TE) and TE stakeholders to model and facilitate Global Competence Education (GCE);
• Internationalising, decolonising and interculturalising teacher education programmes;
• Non-formal education and its role in traditional schooling;
• Digital technologies to make teacher education programmes international and intercultural.

For each track, the Conference will have four 90-minute multipaper sessions: a multiple single-paper presentation session is a summary session consisting of several individual papers followed by audience participation and possible discussant comments.”
